US President Barack Obama has launched a stern challenge to China, using the big stage of the G20 summit of world powers to demand Beijing's help in rebalancing the world economy. Air China to buy 20 Boeing planes: statement
Hong Kong (AFP) June 25, 2010
Flag carrier Air China said on Friday it had agreed to buy 20 of Boeing's 737-800 planes as it expands to meet growing demand. In a statement to the Hong Kong stock exchange, Air China said the list price for the short-to-medium range planes amounted to 1.4 billion US dollars but it had been granted "significant price concessions". Chinese military buys traditional medicine

Renhuang Pharmaceuticals, a Chinese developer of biopharmaceuticals and traditional Chinese medicines, has won a 1-year contract to supply Chinese military hospitals. The contract is worth an expected $600,000 this year, rising to around $1.2 million for 2011, a company statement said. Renhuang will supply the Guangzhou Military District with plant-based shengmai granules, Tianma headache tablets, a number of Siberian ginseng products and an unspecified gynecological medication.
