AirShow China expecting robots, acrobatics

China is to exhibit a second-generation example of its Snow Leopard bomb-removal robot at the Eighth China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition. The developer, China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, made the announcement but gave few details of the latest version set for display and demonstration during AirShow China 2010 at Zhuhai Airport in the southern Guangdong province from Nov. 16-21. Economic recovery is raising global oil demand amid uncertainty over how sovereign debt crises in Europe might crimp pivotal Chinese growth, the IEA said on Thursday. Honda says two China plants to resume production Friday

Japan's number two automaker Honda Motor said production would resume Friday at two vehicle assembly plants in southern China after a strike at an exhaust parts maker ended. China confronts North Korea over shootings

China's relations with its ally Pyongyang have been further strained after a North Korean border guard shot four Chinese civilians, killing three of them.
