Six men to brave 520-day isolation on 'Mars mission'Moscow (AFP) June 3, 2010 Six men from Europe, Russia and China will on Thursday be voluntarily locked away in a module for almost one and a half years to simulate the psychological effects of a mission to Mars. Beijing (AFP) June 1, 2010China said Tuesday it would subsidise purchases of alternative energy vehicles in five cities amid efforts to reduce emissions, save energy and spur the development of green technology.
