Los Angeles-class attack submarine USS Cheyenne (SSN-773) in conjunction with Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet and members of Naval Special Warfare Group (NSWG) 3 successfully fired a Block IV-E Tomahawk Land Attack Missile. Yemeni security forces have launched an operation to free two Chinese oil workers a day after they were kidnapped by tribesmen in an eastern province, the Shabwa governor said on Monday. Iraq signed a deal with Chinese energy giant CNOOC and Turkey's TPAO on Monday to develop a major southern oilfield complex, its 11th deal with foreign energy firms as Baghdad aims to boost crude output.
