Rare rescues as China quake toll passes 2,000Jiegu, China (AFP) April 20, 2010 Relief supplies poured into a remote Tibetan region in northwest China Monday as two women and a girl were rescued from the rubble more than five days after a quake that killed more than 2,000. Washington (AFP) April 15, 2010China has cut its massive US Treasury bond holdings to the lowest level in at least nine months, data showed Thursday as Beijing resisted persistent US pressure to revalue its currency.
