Gunman kills 11 in China village rampage: state media Beijing (AFP) Dec 13, 2009 A gunman on Saturday shot dead 11 people and set fire to five houses in his home village in China's Hunan province, the state news agency Xinhua reported, citing provincial police. The 34-year-old, surnamed Liu, went on the killing spree in the village of Gaoming early in the morning, a police spokesman said. Besides the dead, one person was critically wounded.
