Bush expresses concerns over Tibet to China's Hu Washington (AFP) March 26, 2008 US President George W. Bush called Chinese leader Hu Jintao Wednesday and "raised his concerns" over the situation in Tibet, the White House said. "President Bush called President Hu Jintao today. The (US) president raised his concerns about the situation in Tibet and encouraged the Chinese government to engage in substantive dialogue with the Dalai Lama's representatives and to allow access for journalists and diplomats," the White House said in a statement.
