Beijing, March 6 (AFP) Mar 06, 2025
China's foreign minister Wang Yi will take questions from journalists Friday on the sidelines of the "Two Sessions" political meetings, Beijing said.

The veteran diplomat will answer questions on "China's foreign policy and diplomatic relations", the press centre of Beijing's National People's Congress (NPC) said in a statement Thursday.

Thousands of delegates have descended on Beijing for the country's annual Two Sessions -- near-concurrent meetings of the rubber-stamp NPC and China's top political advisory body.

Lawmakers are expected to hash out plans to buttress China's ailing economy against further shock from US President Donald Trump's tariffs on imports from the world's second-largest economy.
